Volunteer

If you are interested in supporting our mission, we encourage you to consider volunteering for the World Affairs Council.

We have many different ways for you to stay engaged with us. Throughout the year we have volunteer opportunities ranging from working at the registration table at various Community Program events to hosting an international delegate for dinner at your home. Please note: During the summer months, there are limited volunteer opportunities.

If you are interested in receiving our volunteer newsletter or have any questions, please contact Chrissy Hyde, IVP Deputy Director.

We are looking for 6 homestay families (with high school age students) to welcome a Brazilian student into their homes from January 17-24, 2008. It is a great opportunity for families interested in internationalizing their home! For more information refer to the Global Youth Leadership page or please contact Matt Potter, IVP Program Officer, for more details.
