YPIN: The Cell Phone Revolution in the Developing World
According to United Nations, the number of cell phones in the world has now reached 4.1 billion -- put another way, nearly 2/3 of the world's population owns a cellular phone. Above basic increases in productivity & connectedness, this leap-frog communication technology is changing the face of the developing world by improving markedly user's lives in areas as diverse as banking, health, education, trade and politics to name a few.
