IRC - Settling in Seattle Film Event

What would you give up to come to America?... War?... Persecution?... Your Home?.. Your Family?

In celebration of World Refugee Day, the International Rescue Committee is hosting a film event. The event will feature two films. The first is "Settling in Seattle," a documentary on refugee youth that were resettled in Seattle from Iraq, Kosovo, Sudan, and Vietnam. The second is "A Great Wonder," a documentary on the Lost Youth of Sudan, which was recently screened at the Seattle International Film Festival.

You can see a 5-minute clip of the film at www.refugeeyouthinamerica.com under "The Film" section.
