Have globalization and free trade policies increased economic inequality throughout the world, and if so, what are the alternatives?

The World Affairs Council presents Paul Krugman, Professor of Economics and International Affairs at Princeton University, best-selling author and columnist for the New York Times. He will discuss the social costs of exporting production, the shrinking social safety net throughout the world, and how nations can cope with increasing inequalities. Audience members will have the opportunity to participate in a question and answer session following the lecture.
