The World Affairs Council honors the philanthropic leadership and vision of the following individuals who have provided for the future of the World Affairs Council by becoming members of Global Futures, the World Affairs Council Legacy Society:

Members of Global Futures are committed to ensuring that the World Affairs Council will maintain its work over the long term. As a member, their future investment will have returns that are both local and global in reach, ultimately affecting the world that will be inherited by the next generation and beyond. Members have provided for the future by:
- Outright Gifts
- Donor Advised Funds
- Deferred Gifts, including bequests, gifts of retirement plan assets, Charitable Remainder Trusts, Charitable Lead Trusts and gifts of life insurance
Unless otherwise designated, gifts made by Global Futures members will build on the existing endowment fund to provide a stream of income in addition to the World Affairs Council’s annual membership drive and other private philanthropic contributions. The principal of the gift will be carefully preserved in perpetuity and the income is effectively and efficiently invested in the important work of World Affairs Council, year after year.
