A delegation of 6 Judges from Russia came to Seattle to examine court systems, including civil and criminal cases, law enforcement, prison system, legal education, and private practice of law in the U.S.

Crisis and Disaster Management June 17 – 22, 2007

This delegation came to Seattle from the Netherlands to address current strategies of local, state, and federal disaster management agencies, harbor management and safety, crisis preparation, and emergency training.

Ms. Yohannes Explores Sustainable Agriculture

Ms. Yohannes, from Eritrea, visited local Seattle Hmong farmers in June of 2007 to compare farming techniques and capabilities.

Mr. Vegvari visits The Burke Museum February 2007

During his stay in Seattle, Mr. Vegvari visited The Seattle Art Museum, ArtsFund, The Henry Art Gallery, along with the newly opened Olympic Sculpture park.

Boeing Tours, 2006-2007

Delegates from the Transparency and Good Governance, Russian Monopoly Policy, and the US-Japanese Alliance among others have visited Boeing's Everett production facilities.

Chinese delegation visits the Red Cross 2006

A delegation of 15 from the People's Republic of China visited with directors of the Red Cross to discuss the Red Cross in American society as well as management issues and disaster response.

Religious Pluralism: Uzbekistan, August, 2004:

Religious leaders from Uzbekistan visit Seattle for a 2 week program studying freedom of religion in the United States, including visits to local churches, temples, synagogues, and mosques.
