of State partnered to bring 20 visitors to Seattle in April, 2008
to explore the themes of U.S. financial markets and U.S. perspectives
on international economic and monetary issues. |

7 – 11 2008
This delegation of political workers, journalists, and party officials
traveled across the country examining the American political process
in the 2008 presidential primaries. |

multiregional group with delegates from Mexico to Bahrain visited
the Seattle area in June of 2007 to promote a better understanding
of the role and function of libraries and information specialists

Volunteer Day

World Affairs Council and Meridian International Center are partnering
to bring 8 Korean youths to Seattle to explore youth engagement
and volunteerism. |

Tung Visits Seattle in January
Mr.
Tung came to Seattle from Hong Kong in January of 2007 to explore
U.S. best practices of human resources management in the police
force, counter-terrorism and disaster response as well as community
policing in the U.S. |
