International
Visitor Program
Professional Hosting
Burke Museum hosts International Visitor from Hungary
Through the International Visitor Program, delegates
meet with a broad range of professionals in the Puget Sound in fields
from biotech to arts management and media ethics to environmentalism.
This is an excellent opportunity for a mutual exchange of information
that educates both parties and may yield long-standing business
and personal contacts. Professional meetings typically last
one hour but various types of arrangements can be made to incorporate
site visits, observations, interviews, and more.
Professional Hosting is not limited to World Affairs
Council members. If you are interested in being a Professional Host
to International Visitors in the future, or would like to meet with
a specific Visitor, please contact
IVP Director, Autumn
Cutter.

"
You are very welcome. Increasingly, our environment
problems and their solutions are international. Your
program helps to broaden our horizons and I think
we have been able to provide international visitors
with valuable perspectives and information on sustainability
and other environment issues. It is always a pleasure
to work with you and the World Affairs Council. "
