Teacher Resources - Home
In the Resources list, teachers can find several types of resources for creating lesson plans and units on a wide variety of topics related to global affairs.
- Resource Packets from Specific Global Classroom Programs: Resource packets are generated each time Global Classroom hosts a professional development workshop. These include links to relevant web sites with lesson plans or helpful information.
- Curriculum Units aligned with State Standards: These lesson plans are designed to support high school teachers implementing the social studies Classroom-Based Assessments (CBAs). The curricula are also valuable to anyone teaching world politics, history, geography and economics.
- Additional Curriculum Units/Miscellaneous Resources: These are additional lesson plans based upon regional, topical or other global affairs themes, but are not designed for the CBAs.
- Student Resources: Resources developed for the students who have attended the Global Youth Leadership Institute (GYLI). These documents focus on helping GYLI students and other students learn more about global events and plan activities to raise global awareness in their schools.
