Global Competency Session III: Communicating Ideas Across Cultures and Taking Action

The World Affairs Council and Seattle Public Schools International Schools are pleased to invite you to attend our third educator workshop on 21st Century Global Competence. In this session, we will identify types of communication across cultures in the classroom, describe approaches for communicating ideas effectively with diverse audiences, explore considerations for international on-line collaboration, and consider how to apply these concepts to take action in specific projects using examples from Seattle’s International Schools. Join us for this interactive workshop that will provide you with the tools to bring global competency into your classroom and school! This workshop session (two hours, plus one-hour reflection on-line) is $30.00, including light food and free clock hours.
