Host a student from Burma in your home!

World Learning and the World Affairs Council in Seattle are partnering to recruit host families for nine Burmese teenagers between the ages of 15 and 18 to stay with your family from May 3-14, 2012.  The students, who speak English, have been selected by the U.S. Embassy in Burma to become ambassadors for their country.  Host families must have a teenage child in the household, and preferential treatment will be given to those families that have students attending Roosevelt High School.

Download the application here and e-mail it to Kristen Comer, Director of the International Visitor Program.

All applications must be received by Friday, March 16, 2012.
