May 2016 Fellows Program Breakfast

On May 31, the World Affairs Council held a Fellows Breakfast with Ambassador Roger Meece, the former U.S. Ambassador to Malawi and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Amb. Meece was also the Special Representative of the Secretary-General for the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the head of the U.N. peacekeeping mission there (MONUSCO), based in Kinshasa. The conversation focused on the United Nations’ role in peacekeeping, particularly in Africa.
