Brian Williams

Brian Williams is the Senior Manager in Trust Operations at Airbnb. Brian is also currently a reservist in the Air Force Reserve and acts as the officer in charge of a detachment near Tacoma, Washington. Prior to this, Brian was a military intelligence officer in the US Air Force. In this capacity he supported US foreign policy interests through leading teams of analysts and drone surveillance operators. Brian supported US efforts in Afghanistan and Europe, including a secondment to NATO. Brian earned a Masters in Public Policy from Harvard, and a B.S. in Foreign Area Studies from the US Air Force Academy.

Outside of work, Brian and his wife have consistently supported refugee and asylee integration efforts in both the US and Germany. During the wave of Syrian arrivals in Germany Brian and his wife led a civil society effort to ease the entry of hundreds of Syrians to their city. Brian also loves climbing mountains, backcountry skiing, and speaks Arabic, French and Spanish.
