Yeareen Yun
Yeareen Yun is the Program Officer for Community Programs at the World Affairs Council. Having grown up in several countries, including Kenya, Yeareen has always been passionate about global citizenship and international relations. Yeareen has prior experience in finance as a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist and also in education, teaching IB Economics at a an all-girls international school in Korea. She has also worked with several nonprofits and NGOs, including UNICEF, where she oversaw a volunteer management project that led to a creation of a new comprehensive volunteer management system and procedures. Yeareen received her Bachelor of Arts in philosophy and economics from Mount Holyoke College and her Master in Public Administration from Cornell University. In her spare time, Yeareen enjoys running, reading, and exploring the West coast with her Seattleite husband.
