WAC Board Member Selected for Fellowship

tamara_mWorld Affairs Council board member Tamara Power-Drutis has been selected as a 2016 Leadership Fellow by the Henry M. Jackson Foundation. This highly competitive program is in its inaugural year and focuses on leadership development for civic-minded under-4o leaders in the region. 

In the program, the Fellows will “build a deeper understanding of the Jackson legacy, advance their own leadership skills, and develop beneficial personal and professional connections. The Jackson Foundation selects candidates based on their level of civic and professional engagement, their areas of interest, and their values, such as a commitment to finding common ground, a thirst for learning, and their communication skills.”
