The International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State with funding provided by the U.S. Government and administered by the World Affairs Council which is a member of Global Ties U.S.

Promoting Fair Competition by Combatting Illegal Fishing: 11 African economists, law enforcement agents, journalists, and heads of fisheries are coming to Seattle to explore Illegal, Unreported, and Unregulated Fishing (IUUF) response systems, innovation in the blue economy, and watershed stewardship and salmon hatcheries.

Regional Collaboration to Combat Transnational Crime: 14 leaders representing the Near East and North Africa will come to Seattle to gain an overview of the U.S. justice system and framework to combat transnational crimes, explore the roles of prosecutorial authorities, and examine partnerships in crime prevention, mitigation, and prosecution.
