Educator Workshop – Exploring U.S. – Latin America Relations

Join Global Classroom to examine the current relationship between the U.S. and the Latin America region. What are the implications of recent political and economic events? How can you tie Latin America into your classroom?First, educators will hear from Professor Marc McLeod, Director of Latin America Studies at Seattle University and a group of local returned Peace Corps volunteers who have served in various Latin American countries. Educators will receive a light buffet, resource packet, and 3 clock hours.

Lasting Impacts of Tiananmen Square
