Strategic Communications for Community Organization: Four Georgian civil society leaders from Georgia will come to Seattle to examine the role of the nonprofit sector in promoting an engaged civil society, explore amplifying messages with social media and technology, and examine how civil society organizations network to share information and maximize impact.
Cybersecurity and AI: Six startup heads and technology leaders from India, in their time in Seattle, will seek industry and public sector guidance on the development of effective readiness and security, explore policies and tools for strengthening government cyber defense capabilities, and examine cyber and supply chain threats and best practices.
Investigations and Case Management: Three leaders and government heads from Turkmenistan will come to Seattle to discuss criminal investigations and cooperation with law enforcement agencies, and learn how stakeholders process a crime scene and collect evidence to preserve a chain of custody.
Border Security and Transnational Crime: Four law enforcement heads, prosecution representatives, and security officers from Kazakhstan will explore methods to strengthen border security, prevent trafficking in persons, and counter transboundary crime and terrorism in their time in Seattle.
Open World is a U.S. Congress initiative that is administered by the Congressional Office for International Leadership (COIL) in partnership with the World Affairs Council.
Open World - Serbia, Kosovo, North Macedonia: Through this Congressional program, six entrepreneurs and small business leaders from Serbia, Kosovo, and North Macedonia will visit Seattle to learn about and collaborate on best practices for business development and entrepreneurship.
English as a Second Language (ESL) Education for Indonesian Senior Administrators is a U.S. State Department initiative that is administered by FHI360 in partnership with the World Affairs Council.
English as a Second Language (ESL) Education for Indonesian Senior Administrators: Twelve English language educators from Indonesia are coming to Seattle to experience the diversity of American perspectives of civics and societal values, and increase the cross-cultural understanding of English language learners around the world.
