Call for Student Artwork: “Building Global Community” – A Vision of Seattle in 2050
February 3rd, 2025 9:00AM -12:00AM
The World Affairs Council’s Global Classroom is excited to support Alliance Française’s Night of Ideas Seattle 2025 with a special student art initiative! This year’s theme, “Building Global Community,” invites young artists across Washington state (K-12) to imagine and illustrate what Seattle might look like in 2050 as a hub of global cooperation.
As part of this free community event, we encourage students to reflect on the evolving nature of globalization and how arts, culture, and education can shape a more connected and sustainable future. Selected drawings will be showcased in a visual installation at the event entrance, welcoming participating students, their families, and attendees with creative visions of an interconnected world.
