DIGICOMPASS in Practice (Grades 4–12): A Planning Compass for Global Language Education
April 7th, 2026 4:00PM -5:00PM
This webinar introduces DIGICOMPASS and DIGICOMPASS Junior, teacher-facing planning frameworks for global language education across Grades 4–12. At the center is global citizenship, supported by four interconnected domains: digital literacy, inclusive practices, intercultural competence, and awareness of social strategies. The session will show how this planning compass helps teachers bring together well-established theories, practices, and pedagogies into coherent classroom design. Participants will see how existing units can be adapted to make tasks, supports, and evidence of learning more visible through a practical classroom example based on an SDG-aligned OER lesson.

A language and teacher educator, Fulbright Global Scholar, and U.S. State Department English Language Specialist, she founded MOBILLE International Conference and advances plurilingual and global learning across primary and secondary education.
