Global Connections Mixer – The Digital Economy & Cybersecurity
March 23rd, 2026
The Global Leadership Exchange team, a program within World Affairs Council, regularly hosts international visitors from all around the world.
On March 23rd, we are delighted to host a special event with two of our visiting groups across 24 countries on 4 continents. These groups are visiting Seattle to engage with local counterparts on best practices in cybersecurity and in advancing an open internet. The themes of their programs include the effect of digital platforms on business and innovation (how they transform transactions, facilitate global reach, and foster collaboration), how adopting new technologies can energize and advance startups, existing businesses, and communities; and cybersecurity threat response and workforce development.
Join the World Affairs Council on March 23rd at 5:30 pm for a chance to meet these leading international professionals working to better the world. This is a public program and an informal networking opportunity. Everyone with an interest in making local-to-global ties is welcome, whether you're a student, a professional in one of these fields, or just curious!
This is a free, informal event, but we ask that you register ahead of time so that we know you're coming. Refreshments will be available.
