YPIN Global Cafe: Belt and Road 5 Years in Review

Global Cafe is a YPIN discussion series where participants get together to examine and analyze some of the biggest topics in global affairs. YPIN will be hosting our first Global Cafe of the year  on January 24 to discuss China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) 5 years on. The Belt and Road Initiative is a multi-billion-dollar initiative launched by Chinese President Xi Jinping in 2013. BRI endeavors to link Asia, Africa and Europe with a network of land and sea routes. Many see this as China’s response to American global development.
