Renewable Energy as an Economic Driver: Seven policy makers, entrepreneurs, NGO leaders, and energy regulators from around the world are coming to Seattle to examine how sustainable energy implementation and development fosters global political stability and prosperity.
NGO Management: Five NGO managers and activists from Thailand are coming to Seattle to highlight the role of the nonprofit sector in the United States, and the ways that NGOs promote an educated, engaged civil society.
NGO Management: Five NGO managers and activists from Chad are traveling to Seattle to discuss global community engagement and strategic philanthropic planning for mission-driven organizations.
TechGirls is a U.S. State Department initiative that is administered by Legacy International in partnership with the World Affairs Council
TechGirls: 21 young girls aged 15 - 17 from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and the United States will visit Seattle for Tech Girls, an international summer exchange program designed to empower and inspire girls to pursue a career in STEM.
