Women Leaders: Promoting Peace and Security: Fifteen women leaders representing the Western Hemisphere are coming to Seattle to exchange ideas, observations, and best practices to create pathways for promoting peace and security across a wide range of industries and disciplines.
Workforce Development for People with Disabilities: Five disability rights advocates from Indonesia are traveling to Seattle to explore the best practices for inclusive workplaces, as well as workforce development for people with disabilities.
Global Public Health Challenges: In a regional Project for Africa, twenty medical, research, and public health experts will travel to Seattle to discuss private-public partnerships in the medical field, the role of NGOs in preventing and treating infectious diseases, and best practices for infectious disease policy and programs.
U.S. Energy Policy - Security, Independence, and Innovation: A group featuring seventeen leaders in engineering, policy, and research in the field of energy are coming to Seattle to examine current sustainable energy practices and the future of clean energy.
Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management: Twenty two disaster preparedness leaders from around the world will discuss strategies for managing and responding to natural and man-made disasters, and assisting community members with the economic, social, and psychological repercussions of devastating events with their counterparts in Seattle.
