The International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State with funding provided by the U.S. Government and administered by the World Affairs Council which is a member of Global Ties U.S.
Media Innovation for Tamil Language Influencers: Seven Tamil journalists, nonprofit directors, and news anchors from India are coming to Seattle to discuss to examine management of AI, deepfake, and similar technologies, explore efforts to manage technological change, and reliable sources of information.
Performing Arts and Cultural Centers in the United States: 12 academic administrators, performing arts center operators, and professional artists from China are coming to Seattle to examine effective operation of performing arts centers as community and education centers, learn how they are organized and funded, and explore their work to identify community needs and develop plans.
Strengthening University Partnerships: Nine university faculty members from various countries in Africa will come to Seattle to explore U.S. university and college administration practices, understand how they develop and maintain international partnerships, and explore college and university and college collaboration on job and technology creation and international research.
Cooperation in STEM Education: Six analysts and university faculty members from Indonesia are coming to Seattle to facilitate connections between U.S. and Indonesian institutions to promote joint research and pertnerships, explore innovative education models, and engage with U.S. corporations and universities to advance applied science and technology education.

The Young Transatlantic Innovation Leaders Initiative Fellowship Program (YTILI) is funded by the U.S. Department of State and implemented by American Councils for International in partnership with the World Affairs Council.
Young Transatlantic Leaders Initiative (YTILI): Using entrepreneurship as a tool for economic development, YTILI promotes mutual understanding, enhances business and leadership skills, and builds lasting partnerships between business leaders from Europe and the United States. Five entrepreneurs from Georgia, Switzerland, Slovenia, Moldova, and Norway will collaborate with Seattle-based organizations and businesses through a month-long Fellowship and explore the U.S. entrepreneurship ecosystem.

The Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative Fellowship Program (YTILI) is funded by the U.S. Department of State and implemented in partnership with the World Affairs Council.
Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI): The Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative Professional Fellows Program (YSEALI) will bring five NGO leaders from Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam to Seattle for one-month-long immersive fellowships with local organizations. Through YSEALI, the Fellows will enhance their leadership and professional skills, build lasting and sustainable partnerships, and foster mutual understanding between the U.S. and Southeast Asia.

Career Connections is funded by the U.S. Department of State and implemented by Global Ties U.S. in partnership with the World Affairs Council.
Career Connections: In September, the World Affairs Council will bring together U.S. citizen exchange alumni from Seattle, Washington, and the greater American west to participate in a two-day professional seminar entitled "Career Connections: Advancing American Tech Excellence." The seminar will highlight American innovation within the rapidly growing technology industry and reveal the robust connections between the tech industry and other professions in competitive sectors. U.S. alumni attendees will leverage their global experiences by participating in workshops that provide practical skills on career building, insight into technological innovations, and networking opportunities. Participants will interact with professionals who are innovating in Seattle through community connections, technological advancements, and private sector partnerships. The World Affairs Council is partnering with Global Ties U.S. and the Department of State's Office of Alumni Affairs to put on this professional seminar.
