Promoting Interfaith Dialogue in America – 13 visitors from Iraq will visit Seattle to learn about efforts in the United States to promote interfaith dialogue.
Iraqi Young Leaders Exchange Program (IYLEP) – 12 high school students from Iraq will visit Seattle to participate in a two-week long youth program that is designed to build their leadership and civic engagement skills and to showcase local efforts towards peacebuilding and community resilience.
Women in Politics and Civil Society – 13 visitors from the Middle East will visit Seattle to learn about the efforts of various organizations, governments, and individuals to empower women through civic activism and promote awareness for challenges facing women including health issues specific to women.
U.S. Penal System and Reform – 17 visitors from Africa will visit Seattle to learn about the city’s penal system and alternative paths to incarceration available.
U.S. Trade Policy – 21 visitors from around the world to Seattle will examine current federal, state, and local initiatives in international trade and export promotion and be introduced to innovative strategies for regional economic development and competitiveness in the global marketplace.
