Community Connections Belarus – 10 visitors from Belarus will visit Seattle to learn traditional and innovative practices in media communication in the United State through a focus on grassroots mobilization, best practices in media, and awareness-raising campaigns.
Jóvenes en Acción Youth Program – 13 high school students from Mexico will visit Seattle for a two-week youth program designed to develop their skills in leadership and civic engagement and to enhance their understanding of creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship, and financial literacy.
Promoting Social Change Through the Arts – 25 visitors from around the world will visit Seattle to examine the role of arts education in encouraging young people to be responsible and engaged members of society.
Regulatory Approaches to Cybersecurity Risk in the U.S. - 8 visitors from China will visit Seattle to learn about the underlying foundations of establishing a National CERT by observing U.S. policy and implementation. They will also examine the legal and policy framework for data protection and privacy in the United States at the federal level.
Smart Cities – 10 visitors from around the world will visit Seattle to learn about private sector engagement in smart city solutions and the digital economy. They will also spend time learning to illustrate regional cybersecurity strategies, including capability and capacity at the sub-national level.
Role of Independent Theater in Promoting Social Change – 6 visitors from Egypt will visit Seattle to learn about how theater can be incorporated as a means of education and as a way to support and provide a platform for rising local artists.
Global Government-to-Government (G3P) – A visitor from Japan will visit Seattle to gain an understanding of the present situation, challenges, and future direction and policies for social inclusion of immigrants in the United States.
