IVLP Programs: November 2020

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the U.S. Department of State's Office of International Visitors has postponed in-person exchange programs for the rest of 2020. Virtual meetings will instead be arranged for the following programs:
U.S. Higher Education and Opportunities for Future Partnerships: A group of 11 participants from Honduras will have virtual meetings with U.S. higher education administrators and policy-makers to explore the diversity of U.S. tertiary education institutions, their administration, the current issues, trends and challenges that they face, and perspectives on internationalization in pandemic and post-pandemic times.
Global Economic Cooperation II: A group of 36 participants from around the world will have virtual meetings to take a comprehensive look at ongoing efforts to reinvigorate the U.S. economy and to enhance the overall stability and strength of the international economic system during employment and health crises.
U.S. Elections: A group of 12 participants from Lebanon will have virtual meetings with U.S.-based scholars, partisans, think-tanks, community-based organizations, and journalists to examine the electoral process, results, and reactions in the aftermath of the U.S. Presidential Elections.
Strengthening Economic and Commercial Ties: Fashion Ecosystems: A group of 8 participants from Senegal will have virtual meetings to examine the evolution of the fashion industry in the United States and factors that support fashion ecosystems and international commercial ties.
