LEADERSHIP TEAM 2022-2023
Aditi Ajoy, Global Classroom Intern, is a senior at Redmond High-School and has lived in the Seattle area for most of her life. She hopes to major in International Relations on a Pre-Law track.
Aditi is a mentee at Girl Security, an organization that focuses on increasing the number of women in National Security and International Affairs spaces. Through her experience entering the global sphere, she developed a passion for increasing interest for world affairs among high-school students. She founded a World Affairs Club at her school with this idea in mind, and is on a council at Girl Security that works towards this goal as well.
"I’m super excited to be involved with the Global Connections Club. While I have gained my global competence over the course of my life, earning the certificate gave me the chance to reflect on the purpose of my experiences for the first time. I saw my high school coursework, travel and language learning through a different lens. If you’re looking for it, you can find the “global world” anywhere. I hope this club encourages you to seek out these global opportunities and connects you with like minded youth!"
Aditi’s background in world affairs comes from her experience traveling to 30+ countries, and a rigorous school curriculum in economics, history and language. With a passion for her community, she is involved in the Seattle Theatre Group and Totem Star, a label that hopes to increase opportunities for teens to enter the music industry. Outside of career interests, Aditi is a budding singer-songwriter with over 100,000 lifetime streams on Spotify. You can find her at https://open.spotify.com/artist/4sL897POT1ohGf90x3Ix99

Santoshi Pisupati is a senior at the International Community School in Kirkland, Washington. She’s traveled to 17 countries, lived in India for three years and even learned a new language there. Her school has a strong emphasis on global education and community involvement, so she’s always been raised to know how important being engaged with the world is.
Santoshi is involved in her school's Model United Nations (MUN) and Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) clubs, so even when she’s not at school, she’s always learning about our world's fascinating diversity.
In her free time, she loves to write novels. She’s written and published seven so far, with an eighth on the way. She also loves to read and think about which country she might visit next year.
