PeaceTrees Vietnam – Celebrating 25 Years of Friendship in Vietnam!
October 19th, 2020 5:30PM -7:00PM
Please join PeaceTrees Vietnam to honor 25 years of building trust and partnership with communities in Vietnam, sponsoring safe clearance of dangerous bombs and mines, and cultivating a bright future for generations to come.
Together we will celebrate the accomplishments of the last 25 years and commit to a future where explosive weapons no longer threaten families and children are empowered to grow, flourish and move beyond the legacy of war.
Due to ongoing concerns with covid-19, this year we will be shifting our annual anniversary luncheon to a virtual celebration experience. While we will not be able to gather together at the Four Seasons, we are looking forward to a virtual event that celebrates this important milestone in PeaceTrees' work! This year’s program includes a conversation between distinguished guest speakers, including, Governor Gary Locke and the current US Ambassador to Vietnam, Daniel J. Kritenbrink.
PeaceTrees Vietnam is still, notably, the only US organization working to remove unexploded bombs and mines in Vietnam. Your belief in our mission to build bridges of partnership and trust with Vietnamese citizens has helped to ensure that that the US and Vietnam are no longer adversaries, but are friends. As we look ahead to the next phase of our work, we know there is still much to be done to truly overcome the legacy of war.
RSVP by October 3rd!
25 Years of Peace building Between the US and Vietnam
Together we can help children and families break the cycle of poverty, and provide immediate assistance to communities living in daily danger because of unexploded bombs and mines that remain from the Vietnam conflict.
We hope you will join us in celebrating 25 years of meaningful work in Vietnam!
We will continue updating this page with new information about the event which will be held on Zoom. You can download instructions for joining a Zoom event below.
