Bring your questions and get ready to join in on the discussion at the next YPIN Global Leader Dinner featuring Washington State Supreme Court Justice Mary Yu! This is an unique opportunity to hear from a pioneer in the field of law and learn about her professional experiences and her perspectives on leadership.
Justice Yu was appointed to the Washington Supreme Court by Governor Inslee on May 1, 2014, after serving 14 years as a trial court judge in King County Superior Court. She was elected in 2016 for a full six-year term on the Supreme Court.
The daughter of immigrant parents, she is the first in her family to receive a college education. She is the first Latina, the first Asian, and first member of the LGBTQ community to serve on the Washington State Supreme Court.
The Global Leader Dinner is one of YPIN’s signature events and provides a diverse group of young professionals with a special opportunity to expand their worldviews and gain exposure to internationally focused career paths by engaging in a discussion with a distinguished community leader.
