Join YPIN for a journey to Italy through food! We’re hosting a virtual happy hour focused on the joys of Italian cooking. Come prepared to talk about a recipe that you’ve recently made, demonstrate a quick cooking how-to, share an Italian food or travel-related story, or recommend a favorite Italian restaurant in Seattle for take-out!
Need recipe ideas? Try making focaccia, cacio e pepe, pizza, tiramisu, or chocolate budino. Not a home chef? Consider ordering takeout from a local Seattle restaurant such as Delancey, Bar del Corso, Aglio e Olio, Due Cucina, Pasta Casalinga, or Il Nido.
We suggest that you watch Episode 1: Fat from Samin Nosrat’s Netflix show Salt Fat Acid Heat for Italian cooking inspiration and some fun facts in advance. We’ll plan on discussing tips and tricks from her show during the event. We recommend bringing a glass of Italian red or a homemade Negroni!
