YPIN Global Cafe: Global Trade – End of an Era?

Global Cafe is a YPIN discussion series where participants get together to examine and analyze some of the biggest global challenges of our day. This month we will take a closer look at the complex world of global trade. Trade liberalization has become an increasingly tough sell to some skeptic publics. We’ll explore the risks and benefits of free trade agreements and consider the alternatives. Institutions that emerged following WWII are under pressure to adapt to current realities. Are we at the beginning of a new era of economic integration? And if so, who’s going to the write the rules governing global trade in the 21st century?
