Join YPIN and other globally minded young professionals on March 23rd for Global Leader Cocktail Hour! Enjoy an evening of conversation and cocktails with Ada Williams Prince, an international development and humanitarian professional. Her successful track record includes influencing programmatic, policy, and funding decisions globally, nationally and locally.
Ada has worked on global poverty and human rights issues since the 1990s in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. She has worked with a range of organizations including the International Rehabilitation Council for Torture Survivors, Save the Children UK, Refugees International, and the Office of Foreign Disaster Assistance/USAID, which has allowed her to live everywhere from Brussels to Nepal.
Presently, Ada lives in the Seattle area where she has worked to end family poverty at the Marguerite Casey Foundation and currently works in Program Strategy for Pivotal Ventures, part of the Executive Office of Melinda Gates. Ada is a true global citizen. Join Ada and YPIN to discuss how we can think global and act local - examining local ways one can get involved in international development and the international issues professionally and socially.
