About our distinguished guest speaker: Tonya Peck is the Executive Director of Dress for Success Seattle, the Washington affiliate of the only women focused global workforce development organization.  Dress for Success Seattle has more than 20 years of experience empowering women to achieve financial independence. Since the launch of the Seattle affiliate, they have served more than 10,000 women in the last 20+ years. Tonya was recruited in the fall of 2019 to come onboard as the Interim Executive Director to grow the organization capacity to scale for the growing number of women living in poverty in this region. Five months later the pandemic hit which ignited a health & economic crisis which disproportionately impacted women. Tonya was asked to stay on as the Executive Director where she led the organization through this crisis while growing, strengthening, and expanding their organization’s capacity to serve more women through this challenging time.  Tonya’s background is a blend of global technology & design, and organization development.  She has extensive experience growing teams, leaders, and organizations at Fortune 500 companies. Beyond her day job, she’s civically active locally and nationally,with a strong focus of empowering women, creating inclusive environments, and preparing organizations for the future.
