Adah Svetlik
Adah Svetlik is a Community Programs Intern at the World Affairs Council. Adah grew up on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., an environment that sparked her early interest in politics, history, and public policy. She is currently a student at the University of Washington, where she is pursuing double majors in History and Law, Societies & Justice, along with a minor in International Studies. Her academic interests lie at the intersection of historical and legal systems, with particular interests in Cold War history, presidential election voting patterns, international law, and immigration law. Outside of work, Adah enjoys spending time in nature and reading, specifically memoirs. She's always eager to talk about DC statehood and women's basketball.
