Alexis Chouery is a Ballard native, a born and bred Seattleite. She graduated from the Jackson School of International Studies at the University of Washington, where she obtained her B.A. in International Studies and minored in European Studies. Currently she works at Zipwhip, a cloud-based texting company that provides a platform for businesses to communicate customers back and forth from landlines and 1-800 numbers, as a Sales Operations Manager where she leads the enhancements and implementation of sales tools. She also serving her second term as the President of the World Affairs Council of Seattle’s Young Professionals International Network. In her spare time, she follows the Seattle Sounders and Washington Huskies as a season ticket holder. She also enjoys road biking around the city and exploring Discovery Park and traveling.
