Ankur Vora
Ankur Vora advises the foundation’s co-chairs, CEO, and Executive Leadership Team on the strategic deployment of the foundation’s resources. He directs the Foundation Strategy Office, a team that supports the development and refinement of program strategies and explores innovative and efficient ways to advance the foundation’s mission.
Before joining the foundation in 2013, Ankur was the director of programs at the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF) in London, where he oversaw a cross-cutting portfolio focused on health, nutrition, education, and climate change across Africa and South Asia. Before CIFF, he served as a principal at Boston Consulting Group, where he focused on health care, financial services, and social impact projects. He was also a lecturer in economics at the University of Chicago and worked briefly at Goldman Sachs, the Industrial Development Bank of India, and the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre in India.
