Ashley Wilson

Ashley Wilson is a Senior Corporate Counsel at Microsoft, where she leads legal strategy and cross-functional support for engineering teams developing several of Microsoft's frontier AI technologies. Her work spans product counseling, regulatory engagement, and policy development, with a focus on enabling responsible innovation. Ashley is known for her strategic collaboration and counsel to shape product direction, regulatory alignment, and operational execution—ensuring pragmatic legal guidance is embedded throughout the AI development and deployment lifecycle. In her prior role at Microsoft, Ashley worked closely with foreign governments to unlock public and sovereign cloud opportunities and helped shape Microsoft’s approach to emerging global cloud governance. In addition to her corporate work, Ashley serves as an executive board member of Washington DECA, supporting youth leadership and career development.
