Christina Iskandar
Christina Iskandar is a Senior Officer in the Office of the CEO at the Gates Foundation. She is responsible for planning and coordinating foundation-related trips, events, and meetings for the chair and CEO. Prior to joining the foundation in 2019, Christina served as a Program Director at the National Association of Counties. Christina has nearly two decades of experience in political advance and logistics. She was Director of Scheduling and Advance for U.S. Senator Tim Kaine on the Hillary for America campaign and held the same role for U.S. Department of Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack.
She is an advance alumnus of five presidential campaigns and executed trips for both the Obama and Biden administrations. A native of Southern California, Christina holds a B.A. in political science from UCLA and a J.D. from Southwestern Law School. She has traveled to nearly three dozen countries for business.
In Seattle, Christina previously served as a board member for the Plus One Foundation for the past five years, which helps support people with brain injuries. Her hobbies include cooking, knitting, and traveling.
