Christine Gibbs
Christine Gibbs is an attorney with a distinguished background in international law and strategic security. She earned her J.D. from Columbia Law School, where she was a Human Rights Institute Symposium presenter and received the Parker Certificate of Achievement in International and Comparative Law. Christine also holds an M.A. in Strategic Security Studies from the National Defense University.
Christine practices law at Perkins Coie LLP, including on complex international and military aeronautic matters. She has extensive experience in the federal government, including as a Senior Strategic Advisor at both the U.S. Department of Energy and the National Nuclear Security Administration (“NNSA”) and as the Director of Director of Intergovernmental Affairs at the NNSA. In these roles, she contributed to the federal Nuclear Posture Review; conducted legal negotiations, strategic planning, and interagency coordination; and worked on several multi-billion-dollar capital projects, earning her multiple awards. Christine has also served as Deputy Director and Federal Liaison for the Illinois Office of Governor, collaborating with the White House, Congress, and federal agencies. Christine is recognized for her leadership, policy expertise, and commitment to public service.
