Crystal McKie

Crystal Mckie is a Research Analyst at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) where her research has focused on topics including cybersecurity and biomaterials. Prior to joining PNNL in 2023, Crystal spent nine years as an analyst for defense contractors such as Raytheon and Acclaim Technical Services (ATS) in Virginia. As an analyst in Virginia, Crystal’s research has focused on leveraging the incorporation of science & technology against national security challenges. Her work included understanding the impact of global trends in the tech industry through exploring emerging technologies and cybersecurity. Crystal also spent six years as a geospatial analyst. Crystal is a native of Augusta, Georgia and holds a BA from Augusta State University. Crystal enjoys gardening and learning about mycology.
