Danny Rees
Danny Rees is a Senior Advisor for Partnerships & Philanthropy at Save the Children, where he works with supporters in the greater Seattle area to advance children's rights to survival, protection, development, and participation globally.
Previously, Danny served as Northwest Director of Philanthropy at the Trust for Public Land and as Director of Development at the World Federalist Movement–Institute for Global Policy and the Coalition for the International Criminal Court. In that role, he helped establish an Advisory Board chaired by former United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan.
Danny has also held positions with the United Nations Democracy Fund, the Inter-Parliamentary Union, and the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security & Cooperation in Europe, supporting conflict prevention and election observation missions in Kazakhstan and Ukraine.
He currently serves on the boards of EarthCorps and his children’s elementary school. Originally from England, Danny holds a BA in Philosophy and an MSc in International Relations from the University of Bristol. He enjoys running, food, and exploring the Pacific Northwest by bike, foot, and campervan.
