Dea Angeles Quiroz
Dea Angeles Quiroz is an international professional and career diplomat currently on leave from the Mexican Foreign Service. She served at the Permanent Delegation of Mexico to UNESCO in Paris and at the Consulate of Mexico in Seattle. She led the political and economic affairs agenda and advanced bilateral engagement with local and regional partners. Dea holds a Bachelor of International Relations from Tec de Monterrey in Mexico City and a Master of Cybersecurity and Leadership from the University of Washington, where she was inducted into Upsilon Pi Epsilon and Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Societies.
She is a member of Women in Cybersecurity (WiCyS) and holds the (ISC)2 Certified in Cybersecurity certification. She currently works as an International Facilitation Specialist at Alaska Airlines where she champions collaboration to improve cross-border regulatory compliance and support international initiatives across North America, Latin America and Europe. Dea is passionate about global governance, cyber diplomacy and advancing international cooperation.
She speaks Spanish, French, and conversational Russian, and has studied and lived in Mexico, the UK, France, and Russia. Dea enjoys running, indoor climbing, and travelling with her wife and their two dogs, Pops and Pierre Roquefort Napoleon I.
