Dennis Skarr
| Dennis Skarr is the founder and CEO of SkarrNet Training Systems, a workforce education and technology company. His work focuses on digital confidence, responsible AI adoption, and human-centered workforce development. He is currently helping labor representatives build practical skills for responsible AI use and workflow adoption.
He also participates in a task force examining AI-related legislation and policy. Dennis previously spent more than a decade teaching information technology, cybersecurity, and industrial control systems at Everett Community College. His work as an educator earned him recognition as Exceptional Faculty of the Year. Over the past two years, Dennis has participated in multiple global and world-affairs programs. He is particularly interested in the connections among emerging technology, international affairs, energy security, and workforce policy. Dennis is committed to making complex technological and policy issues accessible to workers, students, and communities. He lives in Everett, Washington. |
