Estephanie Gomez
Estephanie is a Global Studies major at the University of Washington Tacoma, where she will graduate this upcoming Winter 2025. She was born in Wenatchee, Washington & moved to the West side at a young age, an experience that shaped her curiosity about different communities, perspectives & cultures. As a first-generation American & bilingual in Spanish, Esteph has learned to navigate new spaces on her own & is passionate about creating opportunities for others who share similar journeys.
Her professional background spans real estate, hospitality & community engagement. Esteph brings with her a commitment to making complex processes more accessible and inclusive. She is interested in supporting the Hispanic community & first generation individuals by fostering cross-cultural understanding and empowerment.
A dedicated traveler, Estephanie believes that exploring new places is one of the best ways to learn & grow. Most recently, she spent time in Colombia studying coffee culture and the impacts of tourism on local communities. This experience deepened her interest in global interconnectedness. In her free time, she enjoys going on walks, spending quality time with her family (& cat, Aries) & exploring new restaurants!
