Faith Nyakundi
Faith Nyakundi is currently a Masters in International Studies at the Jackson School, University of Washington. Born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya, Faith came to the US for her undergraduate at Whitman College where she received a Bachelor's in Politics and a minor in Music. In the past she has worked for the YWCA, the Walla Walla County Court as a domestic violence and sexual assault advocate, Akili Dada and several other non profit organizations and projects. In the next few years she hopes to research the impact of foreign investments in agriculture and ports of some select African countries (with a focus on China); advocate for education and women’s rights and advancement; and travel. Faith enjoys singing, running, learning new languages, fascinating political conundrums, Walla Walla wines, books with colorful descriptive language, and now, YPIN!
