India Miller

India is a senior undergraduate student at the University of Washington studying International Studies and French. She is particularly interested in economic development, humanitarian aid, neocolonialism and the complex issues that intertwine all three. As a community programs intern, India is excited to learn more about community engagement and the intricacies of working in a nonprofit. After she graduates, India hopes to apply her knowledge and interests to the nonprofit sector. India enjoys traveling and has studied abroad in both France and Tanzania. She is passionate about running, backpacking, and pretty much anything that gets her outdoors. She loves meeting new people and has volunteered with the UW Foundation for International Understanding Through Students program welcoming students from Southern Africa and helping them adjust to life in Seattle.
