Jeremy Sinensky
Jeremy joined the World Affairs Council in March of 2016. In his work with the International Visitor Program (IVP), Jeremy maintains a special focus on Youth Leadership Programs. Prior to joining the World Affairs Council, Jeremy served as Senior Program Facilitator for World Learning’s Youth Leadership Programs, traveling throughout the United States and Iraq with youth leaders from Iraq, Mexico, Bosnia, Germany, and the United States. Jeremy received his M.A. in Peacebuilding and Conflict Transformation from the SIT Graduate Institute and a B.A. in English Literature and Writing from Binghamton University. Jeremy is a trained Community Mediator and Dialogue Facilitator with experience teaching English language overseas to a broad age-range of Eastern Europeans and Ghanaian high school students. As a Global Service Corps Fellow and staff with the New York-based Joint Distribution Committee, he has facilitated leadership training workshops and directed community development and social justice programming throughout Poland. Jeremy has also directed and led service-learning and cross-cultural exchange programs for high school and university students from the United States, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, France, and Poland. His experiences living and and studying in Israel, Poland, Liberia, and Ghana, inspire his acute sense of global citizenship. In his free time, Jeremy serves as a member of Kids4Peace International’s Program Team and enjoys the outdoors, playing guitar, and building bridges with people from around the globe.
