Julia Hall
Julia graduated from the University of Washington where she pursued degrees in Law, Societies, and Justice and International Studies, with a concentration in human rights. She recently had the opportunity to travel to Greece, where she conducted ethnographic research on the impact of Covid-19 on refugee communities, which helped foster her passion for cross-cultural communication, understanding, and education.
Throughout her high school and college years, Julia has spent time volunteering with several youth and after-school programs, fostering connections with younger students from diverse backgrounds. Her academic work, along with her experience abroad and working with youth, has shaped her commitment to contributing towards global literacy and developing global compassion. She is passionate about education as a force for change and preparing youth to take on our world’s most pressing challenges. In her free time, Julia enjoys reading along with exploring everything about Seattle- especially the outdoors, the food, and the music scene.
